This blog is the work of an Irishman living in the burbs of Dublin City.  I’ve lived and worked in this town on the outskirts of Dublin my whole life but have aspirations to eventually make the move to Canada with my wonderful Canadian wife. As to why Canada? Well type in “Canadian Scenery” in to flickr to see for yourself. Presently though I work as a sysadmin for a dotcom.

My interests are computers, technology, games, movies that make you think and evoke discussion, emotive and uplifting music, and, of course, the clichéd, travelling. I’ve been to a few countries but not near as many as I’d like. Aside from the eventual move to Canada I’d like to also live somewhere else in my lifetime that is completely outside of my comfort zone for the experience.

This blog however, as yet, really has no focus. I just want to start writing about the things I think about on a daily basis, information I come across that I feel people will find useful and just have a space of my own on the net where I can express myself. I hope to fill it with information about building PC’s, configuring servers, games I’ve played, thoughts on life and the world and pretty much everything in between. As the years role on I’m sure I’ll specialize into discussing only a few topics. But for now I’m leaving it open ended.
