Breaking Bad: Season 2 finale

Not really watching a lot of TV or films of late, so thought I’d separate out my opinions on this season finale. Another solid episode anyway, but I feel duped. All through this season they’ve been showing b&w scenes from some event in the future, which featured a charred pink teddy in Walts pool, all the windows of his car shattered and 2 dead bodies lying in the driveway. It seems this was all just misdirection to make you think somehow that Walt caused this event…. and actually it’s only after typing that, that I realize that he did, in a domino effect way. Last week, he let Jane, Jesses girlfriend die, this caused her father Q… I mean Donald… to go into an emotional spiral, and as an air traffic controller, this emotional distraction caused him to not notice 2 737′s on a collision course. So, in effect, Walt triggered the events that led up to this disaster, whether he will become aware of this or not? I guess we’ll have to wait till next season. Overall though I like the progression, especially the knowledge at the end that Skylar now knows Walt for the liar that he is. How he will squirm his way out of this one I don’t know.

Easter Egg: If you put together the titles of all the episodes that start with the B&W flashforward they spell out the sentence “737 Down Over ABQ”… neat huh.
