New Internet game: mybrute.com

It’s another one of these internet fads that I’ve hopped on the bandwagon for while it lasts. Unlike some other online community games, this one lets you jump right in to it. No sign up or email verification required. If you click on this link below, you’ll be taken to a page where you can challenge my Brute to a fight.

It autogenerates a Brute depending on what name you choose, but you are not forced to keep this, you can click through some more autogeneration options to change your Brutes colour and appearance… and that’s it. You can now fight.
The fights are also automated, but how they are weighted will come down to your personal stats. Your Brutes basic stats are; health, strength, agility and speed. You will take this into account when choosing which opponents you will fight next. On top of this, as you fight, you will gain weapons and additional skills to help you progress. When choosing who you wish to fight, you can see their basic stats, but their additional weapons and skills will remain hidden. More often than not these will also tip the game in your opponents favour. For example, I seen a Brute with lower health, strength and speed than me, so I challenged her to a fight, only to find out she had a PET BEAR!!! Needless to say, her bear did most of the fighting and I lost. It’s this random dynamic to the game that will keep you interested.
To progress, you need to fight, but also recruit active pupils (randomly creating duplicate accounts won’t work) and as your pupils progress, you will gain EXP for every level they increase. To recruit pupils send them to your challenge page: (i.e. mine is leimrod.mybrute.com) Also, once you get to level 10, you can set up your own Clan and invite your friends to join it. Everyday you are given a limited number of fights that you can initiate. But you can be challenged and recruit as many pupils as you like. You can also sign up to the Tournaments, which will guarantee you some fights to increase EXP. Anyway, it’s a simple game that will get better if you can get your friends involved. Give it a go, and let me know your opinions or link to your Brutes and I’ll try to challenge them myself.

why is it that i have many pupils, but they don’t
gave me any exp?
b/c they only give you one xp if THEY level up…. so if someone isn’t doing anything with your pupil you won’t benefit from it.
I think they’ve changed something though. I’m in some pupil circles where we each give each other pupils (as you used to only get XP if you got a pupil from a different IP address) But I’ve noticed over the last few days that this has stopped. You don’t seem to get XP all the time for new pupils, even if they go to lvl 2. I think it’s to stop the people running automated pupil scripts (look at the top 2 mybrutes). I know where these scripts are myself, so I hope the people at mybrute find and figure out a way of blocking them.
